“New Year = A New Life! Decide today who you will become, what you will give how you will live.”
Tony Robbins
First: Prepare yourself to Begin
1. Evaluate 2015: Figure out where are you standing now, what are the habits you want to keep in 2016 and what are the habits you want to get rid of?
2. Set your intention and purpose.
3. Brainstorm about the changes and improvements you’d like to make, the changes might be stopping a bad habit, seeking more success at work, having a better relationship with your partner, etc.
4. Choose three or four larger goals that would really make a difference in your life.
5. Break down the large goals into smaller actions that could be easier to carry out.
6. Check if your goals are SMARTER:
Specific: What exactly do you want to achieve?
Meaningful: why is this goal important to you?
Action oriented: What steps will you take to achieve it?
Realistic: How do you know that you can achieve this goal? Is it realistic for you to achieve?
Trackable: are you able to assessing your progress throughout the process. Enthusiastic: Does it put a smile on your face when you imagine reaching it?
Resourced: Do you have the needed resources for you (time, money, support, information, etc) to achieve this goal?
7. Make sure you have balanced goals that come across most of the life aspects
Physically: Health and fitness, etc
Mentally: Career and self Development, etc
Emotionally: Love and social life, etc
Spiritually: Practices or rituals and sense of purpose, etc
8. Talk to others about your goals, people who tell others about their goals are more likely to accomplish them.
Second: Plan your year

Third: Track and maintain your accomplishments
1. Save copies of your resolution: Make copies on every device you are using (computer, cell phone, tablet, etc) and you may also print it and keep revisiting as much as you can.
2. Create accountability: set-up dates for evaluation with a friend, mentor or coach, and this will keep you focused and more committed to your planning and scheduling.
3. Reward yourself for even the small accomplishments, and decide a bigger reward for completion.
4. Hang out with successful individuals.
5. Get continuous feedback: look for other people’s advice, ideas and feedback to help you keep going and be flexible to change.
6. Recognize the habits that distract you from what really matters.
7. Start your day with “To do list” and focus on the things that truly counts, Prioritize and manage your time: invest your time in the activities that help you to achieve your goals otherwise, life can intervene.
8. Keep a Journal: writing down your daily experience along with at least one thing you are grateful for, will develop your self – awareness, encourage you to learn from all you have done and make fewer mistakes.
